Welcome, Read About My Back Surgeries Below.

My name is Laura, and I am 42 years old. I seriously injured my back at age 15, but didn't have major back surgery until 2004. Mostly the reason I waited so long was, due to fear and not trusting the doctors I had. Once I met Dr. Steck I knew right away, I had found THE Doctor that could not only handle this complicated surgery, but someone I trusted completely.

Going In To Surgery in About 4 1/2 Hours

It's 2am and I am suppose to be in surgery for 6:30 am to have a Spinal Cord Stimulator put in. I am pretty scared, so I know I can't sleep I am starting to get sleepy now though so I think I'll try and lay may head down for a few minutes. 

Look here to learn what a Spinal Cord Stimulator is.  I am suppose to be an out patience so just as soon as I can get back on the computer I'll start documenting how this went and how it's going. 

Wish me luck, I need it for sure. Oh, boy!
